Report: US raises Russian oil imports by 43% in 7 days
MOSCOW, Apr 4 (PRIME) -- The U.S. raised oil purchases from Russia by 43% to 100,000 barrels per day from March 27 until April 3, Deputy Secretary of Russia's Security Council Mikhail Popov told newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda on Sunday.
"The U.S. forced the Europeans to introduce anti-Russian sanctions, while not only continuing to import Russian oil, but raised the amount of black gold deliveries by 43% to 100,000 barrels per day last week!" Popov said.
The official also said that the U.S. allowed exports of mineral fertilizers from Russia, qualifying them as essential goods.
